I had been waiting over 3 years for a total hip replacement. Consequently, I was in a great deal of pain as my hip bones had fused together. This meant the operation was more complex and needed a high skill level to replace the damaged joint. Mr Webb explained the problem and showed me the x-rays at the initial consultation. He is an excellent communicator , both on a personal and professional level. I never doubted that the operation would be anything other than successful. I went home from hospital after a few days with absolutely no pain. I was able to walk "normally" after weeks without using a stick. I cannot offer any suggestions for improvement because , in my opinion, he is already offering ultimate , professional care at the highest level

After several years of very poor medical care I was lucky enough to get an appointment with Mr Webb to discuss my rapidly deteriorating hip which was severely restricting my quality of life. From the moment I walked in the door Mr Webb was in no doubt about the problem and the way this was impacting my life. Mr Webb had reviewed my MRI's and X-Rays before the consultation, assessed my physical ability during the consultation and told me exactly what was wrong. From that moment I knew I was in the right hands, my short wait for the operation was managed by the hospital and I knew exactly what was happening every step of the way. The operation itself has been a massive success, I could never have imagined how this operation would give me my life back, just as Mr Webb had promised me. I was incredibly lucky to have been seen and operated on by Mr Webb, thank you doesn't even begin to cover it. I would 100% recommend him to anyone, he will not let you down.

I had a right total hip replacement on the 23rd May 2022 at the age of 48. I had been in so much pain for many years, practically unable to walk. I was referred to Mr Webb at the spire and my goodness, he was fantastic from the start. He was so understanding and completely understood how much pain I was in and how it was affecting me. The surgery went well, he checked on me late in the evening and again before 7am the following morning. I have no doubt that I will need my other hip replaced I wouldn't want anyone else to do it. He was kind, honest and so easy to speak to. I cannot recommend him enough. A true gent and professional in his field. His secretary Tracy was also helpful and supportive. I cannot thank him and his team enough for giving me back my quality of life!!

I had a total left hip replacement 5 weeks ago. The surgeon was Mr Webb. I am very happy with the outcome so far. I had two initial appointments with Mr Webb, saw him before and three times after the operation whilst in hospital, and have just seen him for a 5 week check up. I will see him next year after 12 months, and he has assured me that any issues not covered so far will be answered by him if I contact his secretary. Throughout, Mr Webb has been clear (but not patronising) in his explanations of the pro's and con's of surgery, has taken great pains to ensure the correct hip prosthesis was used, bearing mind my allergy to nickel, has carefully listened to any concerns and taken time to answer any questions of mine, even though some may have been blindingly obvious. As mentioned, I'm very pleased with how things have gone so far and Mr Webb has assured me that there is further improvement to come. I would not hesitate to recommend Mr Webb based on my experience.

Mr Webb gave me the reassurance that I needed and honest explanations about the surgery and what to expect pre and post surgery. I cannot thank him enough for looking after me and improving my quality of life 101% I would highly recommend him .
